1. Bak Cave:
Bak Cave is located about 3 kilometers from Pawlrang village. It is a large and beautiful cave, very different from others. The entrance to the cave is wide enough for a person to walk through easily, and there are three main tunnels inside the cave. The opening of the cave is about 9 feet wide. The cave stretches to a length of about 150 meters, and the three tunnels inside are all connected in such a way that one can walk through them. There are also many small paths inside. A large number of bats live inside the cave, and it is one of the most visited spots by adventure clubs. The Pawlrang branch of the YMA (Young Mizo Association) looks after the cave and continues to take care of it.
2. Pasaltha Lianhleia Cave:
Pasaltha Lianhleia is believed to be the brave warrior who was loved by the powerful forest spirit called Lasi. This cave is located on the high slopes of the Lengteng mountain range, specifically near the top of Sialkal hill. When viewed from the mountain trail, it appears as a clear opening on the hillside. It is believed that Pasal\ha Lianhleia stayed here together with the Lasi. The Lianhleia Cave is not very deep, but its entrance is more than 100 feet high. It can also be reached from the Lamzawl side, and it is a beautiful spot for sightseeing.
3. Fangfar Cave:
Fangfar Cave is located about 5 kilometers from Chiahpui village, on the southern side near the Manipur–Mizoram border, within Mizoram. The cave is spacious and beautiful, stretching about 360 feet in length and 70 feet in width. It is slightly dark inside, but has a long straight path. The cave is found under a rocky cliff, and it has only two entrances. It is considered one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Mizoram.
4. Prayer Cave:
: This cave is located in a remote area not far from Vanbawng village. In the past, early Christians used to come to this place to pray and worship God; because of this, the cave came to be known as “Prayer Cave”. This place is now considered a peaceful and meaningful destination to visit. However, the depth and full length of the cave remain unknown, as it has not been fully explored or mapped out.
